Montreal will celebrate its 375 anniversary in 2017 !

LES HIVERNALES mark the beginning of the 375th anniversary of Montreal in 2017

2017 will be a very special year in Montreal which will celebrate 375 years of history. Plenty of activities are scheduled throughout the whole year.

Les Hivernales are scheduled from January 6th until March 11th and promise to give you an exciting winter.  

Come and play outside! Among scheduled activities:

Barbegazi :  the wild and crazy obstacle course on the Îlot Clark in the heart of downtown Montreal at 10 minutes walk from the hotel. DJ’s – Glittering light shows. Free access, prizes to win. Friday to Sunday, January 6 to 8 and 13 to 15, 2017.

Igloofest : Weekends from January 12th to February 19th, 2017 - Jacques-Cartier Quay in the Old-Port of Montreal. This festival brings together thousands of electronic music lovers to dance outdoors. For the 375th Hivernales celebrations, IGLOOFEST will be adding some special free winter activities.

Fête des neiges : Weekends from January 14 to February 5, 2017 - Parc Jean-Drapeau. Come play and discover great new family activities at Parc Jean-Drapeau during the Montreal 375th anniversary celebrations. Slides of all shapes and sizes, a new ice-sculpted Pirate ship, lively animation, good old-fashioned snow tubing, the Tyrolienne, the Ferris Wheel, dog sled rides, skating, and live shows for the whole family. Most activities free of charge!

Outside Hockey games - Montréal Ice Canoe Challenge and more await you at Les Hivernales
